Casino War - Strategy
If the cards were the same rank then those players with the tied cards would ‘go to war’, playing another round, with the player with the highest ranked card winning all the cards being played.
Casino War is very similar to War and is becoming very popular in casinos. This is down to the fact that Casino War is a simple game to play but is fast moving and provides a lot of excitement when the player and dealer ‘go to war’
There is also the key fact that if there is no tie then there is no house edge. There is a 50% chance of the player and dealer winning. The house edge comes into play when a Tie occurs
Casino War History
In the original game of War the objective was to win all of your opponent’s cards. The winner of each round gets to keep the cards. These are the key components that have changed when War was introduced into casinos and modified into Casino War.The other modification is that War was usually played with one pack of cards but Casino War is usually played with 6 packs of cards.
