Texas Holdem Bonus Poker - Rules
Played with a standard 52 card deck the game follows similar procedures to the real poker game.
Each player makes an ante bet of one unit after which all players and the dealer are dealt two cards face down.
Players then look at their cards and have two options: to fold or to bet. If a player folds he will lose his ante bet, if he wishes to continue he must make a bet of two units (twice the ante bet). This is the flop bet.
Three community cards are then dealt face up (the flop). Player may now either check, or bet one unit. This is the turn bet.
A fourth community card is then dealt face up on the table (called the turn). Once again players may now check or bet one unit. This is the final betting round and is called the river bet.
A fifth, and final, community card is now dealt face up on the table. All cards are turned face up and players must make their best possible five card poker hand from their two hole cards and the five cards face up on the table. If the player’s hand is better than the dealer’s then he wins even money on his flop, turn and river bets, though he will only be paid even money on his ante bet if his five-card poker hand is a straight or better.
Players may also make a separate wager on the value of their starting hand which will be paid out regardless of whether or not their final hand is better than the dealer’s hand. The ‘bonus bet’ pays out only on the value of a player’s two hole cards, and generally follows the table below.

AK unsuited: 15 to 1
